These terms apply when you order a caricature from Caricatur.me, run by the artist Dima Blue ([country / registered address]). By sending an order request you agree to them. Questions: contact@caricatur.me
1. What we make
Custom caricatures drawn by hand from the photos and details you send us, delivered as a high-resolution digital file. We don’t ship printed products unless we agree that separately with you.
2. How ordering works
- You send a request through the order form with your photos and the story. Nothing is charged at this point.
- We confirm the details, price and timing by email, usually within 24–48 hours. We can decline a request, for example if the photos aren’t usable or the content isn’t appropriate.
- We send a black & white sketch. Tell us what to change — this is the best moment for changes.
- You approve the sketch and pay 50%. The order is confirmed when this first payment is received.
- We create the final artwork in colour.
- You pay the remaining 50% and receive the full-resolution file.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the Pricing page in US dollars. The total shown in the price builder and order form is an estimate; the price we confirm by email before you approve the sketch is the one that applies. Any taxes or payment fees will be shown before you pay.
4. Delivery times
Standard delivery is usually 7–10 days; rush delivery (3 days) is available for an extra fee when our schedule allows. Times run from when you approve the sketch and are estimates, not guarantees. If we can’t meet a date that matters to you, we’ll tell you as soon as we know.
5. Changes and revisions
Changes are easiest at the sketch stage, and we’re happy to adjust it until you’re happy with the concept. Small tweaks to the final artwork (colours, small details) are included. Big changes after you’ve approved the sketch, such as a new pose, person or scene, may be quoted as extra work.
6. Cancellations and refunds
[Refund policy — to be added.]
7. Your photos and content
- You confirm you have the right to use the photos you send and the permission of the people in them.
- Don’t send anything illegal, hateful or intended to mock or harass someone. We may refuse or stop an order that crosses that line.
- We use your photos only to make your caricature, and delete them 45 days after you send them. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Who owns the artwork
Dima Blue keeps the copyright in the artwork. Once it’s fully paid, you may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes: print it, frame it, put it on a mug or card, give it as a gift and share it on social media. Using it commercially (for example for a company logo, merchandise for sale or advertising) needs our written agreement.
9. Showing your artwork
We may show finished caricatures in our gallery and on our social media. If you’d rather we didn’t, tick the opt-out box on the order form or email us at any time and we’ll remove it.
10. Liability
Caricatures are an artistic interpretation and exaggerate features on purpose, so the result won’t look exactly like a photo. Our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn’t allow this limit. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you send your order request applies to that order.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [country]. If something goes wrong, please contact us first — we’ll do our best to put it right.
